More Coast Pictures for you. This is at Ecola State Park, which is near the famous haystack rock featured in the GOONIES. All the rocks were awesome. I felt like a little kid, seeing how far we could get out on them. The poor seal washed itself up on shore. No shark wounds though. Just sick. Poor Guy.

Last weekend was amazing. Saturday it was almost 80 degrees! Sunday wasn’t that warm, but it was still super nice. Saturday we drove up the Columbia River. We went over the Bridge of the gods and kept driving until we came to the Maryhill Museum area in Washington. It’s a great spot and I highly recommend. Wonderful views of the river and Mt Jefferson back in Oregon. A little further up the road is a Stonehenge replica that is dedicated to World War One soldiers that were from that area. On the way back we stopped at Beacon Rock. We made the hike up and it was pretty nice, but there was ALOT of people up there and we couldn’t really stop and enjoy the view. Oh well.————————————————

Sunday we drove south to the Silver Falls Forest Area and did a 5 mile hike. The waterfalls were awesome. Alot of water is rushing down right now, because of the snow melt. Enjoy the Pics!

Well, the area of Mt. Saint Helens anyway. Today we decided to go into Washington again even with the promise of rain. Couldn’t stay inside another saturday. We went up as far as we could go. Still alot of snow up there even in April. There was a road off to the left and it went down a ways to Coldwater Lake. This was formed after the 1989 eruption! Coldwater creek was clogged with landslide and debri, thus forming Coldwater Lake. It was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. Not a soul was there but us. You can still see charred tree stumps and ashy grey mud.

With 1987, I kept the same basic arrangement of their song, but added quite a bit to it, in terms of effects and samples.

Then with Black Cat, I changed the arrangement up some along with effects.

SOLD Out Show! Because of the lines for will call and beer, we missed most of Diplo’s set. I was told it was really good though. The French boys put on a great party! Pretty much went in similar song order that their album is layed out in. After a few minutes we decided to head up to the balcony where we got a great overview of the place. Changed things up a bit towards the end and used “We are your friends” quite often and threw in some Metallica riffs, making the kids go wild and start moshing. We couldn’t believe the “level of security”, so to speak, for getting into the bar area. I almost wasn’t let in because my ID would not work when put into their ID checker.
